Commemorating 200 years as an institution is an extraordinary experience. Commemorating a second bicentennial 10 years later illustrates that the history of Massachusetts General Hospital is unique among health care institutions. Join members of the hospital’s Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation as they describe the year-long planning process that went into commemorating the 200^th anniversary of the first patient admission to the hospital – a decade after the MGH was incorporated as a general hospital -- culminating in a seminal event, an interactive tour and several publications and collateral.
